Frogster Interactive has announced the open beta date of hack ‘n’ slash game Mythos, developed by HanBitSoft which rescued it from the sinking FlagShip Studios, developer of HellGate: London. Open Beta is scheduled to begin 12th April and the level cap will be raised from 27 to 50, unlocking the third zone, Umbral Peaks.
Mythos features randomly generated dungeons, Diablo-type gameplay, extensive crafting and upgrading. There are 4 different races to pick from and three character classes. Mythos is free-to-download free-to-play and promises free regular and “extensive” updates throughout the game’s life-cycle.
